Alternative, Community, Media, Education Research Group - ACME
Our aim is to explore and analyse social issues in various areas mixing the terms: Alternative, Community, Media and Education. Combinations of these terms let us focusing alternative developments in education, media and local communities.
We intend to conduct research in the following topics:
- role of community radio in social communication
- role of community radio in local community development
- changing role of community radio in education
- alternative pedagogical concepts in education
- alternative pedagogical practices in community building
- practical approach to community and collaboration in alternative schools
- multilingualism and linguistic integration in education
- identity and multilingualism in cross-border context
