Applications are now open for the MARIHE international master’s programme
A particular attraction of this English-language programme is that it welcomes students with at least a BA degree from all over the world. Successful applicants will spend the first two semesters in Austria and Finland, before spending the first half of the third semester in China (Beijing Normal University) or India (Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology) for a two-month specialisation. After that, students can choose from five European specialisations, spending the rest of the third semester and the entire fourth semester there. Depending on their choice, students can study at the following universities:
- Tampere University (Finland)
- Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences (Germany)
- University of Continuing Education Krems (Austria)
- ELTE University (Hungary)
- University of Aveiro (Portugal)
Full Erasmus scholarship
Applicants can be awarded an Erasmus+ scholarship for the full duration of the programme, which is calculated to cover travel, visa, settlement and living expenses in the country abroad. You can also join the programme as a self-financed student without a scholarship.
Competitive degree
At the end of the MARIHE programme, students will receive a joint degree or a double degree, depending on their chosen specialisation and the partner university at which they wish to prepare and submit their thesis. This degree is not only an advantage if the student wants to pursue an academic career, but also for securing employment from the international labour market.
Innovation in higher education
MARIHE aims to train experts and professionals worldwide who are able to manage global changes in the field of higher education, to apply new strategies and management tools and, therefore, to contribute to the development of higher education and research throughout their careers.
What ELTE PPK offers in Hungary
A special feature of the programme for us is that students who choose the Learning and Teaching specialisation can spend one or two semesters at the Faculty of Education and Psychology at ELTE. Here they will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge on educational development and research, while also participating in a group project work that has been well established for many years.
Application deadline: 22 November 2024
