The Haynal André Psychoanalytic Collection of the ELTE PPK Library and The Hungarian Psychoanalytical Society is available
The placement and enumeration of psychoanalyst and psychiatrist of Hungarian origin André Haynal's collection of nearly three thousand volumes of books and journals was completed.
The professor considered it important to share his knowledge with his Hungarian colleagues, so after his death (2019) his collection was donated to the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of Eötvös Loránd University by his widow, Véronique Haynal and his children with the help of professor Fülöp Márta in cooperation with the Hungarian Psychoanalytic Society. The legacy came to the faculty in cooperation with the Hungarian Psychoanalytic Society.
Part of the collection is located in the reading room in the Kazinczy Street Library and another part in our underground storage. Psychoanalytic literature, mainly in English, French, German and partly in Hungarian, can be used locally. Here you can find the conditions of use.
