Information concerning the Complex Exam for Students for whom the 2022/2023 II. semester will be the 4th active semester

Dear Doctoral Students,

We hope this email finds you all well.

At the end of the 4th active semester:

• Students shall be required to finish the Training and Research Phase by completing a Complex (Comprehensive) Examination,
• The Complex Exam is aimed to measure and assess progress made in study and research, the completion,
• The Complex Exam is a condition for the commencement of the Research and Dissertation Phase.

The Complex Exam has two prerequisites:

1. Students need to complete the required modules, which means a total of 84 academic credits until the end of the 4th active semester. 
2. You need to acquire additional 24 research credits until the end of the 4th active semester. When planning and filling the Credit Application Form for the spring semester, please, pay attention to this requirement.

Until the 31st of March 2023 you will also have to submit the following documents electronically in Neptun:
• completed the online Application form
• Research plan for the 4 semesters of Phase II (Research and Dissertation Phase)
• Declaration and Assessment of the Topic Supervisor (you can find the Template attached)
