Research projects

In the last few years, the range of awarded projects has been started to get a shape in line with the Faculty’s complex and multidisciplinary research and educational portfolio. The awarded projects boost the basic research activities run at the faculty in different ranges of the subject to a great extent: for example, projects initiated by researchers, postdoctoral projects, or those of young researchers, or projects of Momentum research teams. The following projects are highly important: the research and development activities of direct European Union funding (MARIHE, EDITE, JUST projects)“Longitudinal Budapest Analysis of Addictive Disorders” project run in the framework of the research excellence grant financed by the National Research, Development and Innovation Office“Self-Efficiency instead of Anxiety” research and development project, run by several faculties and coordinated by ELTE PPK, financed by the national excellence programme. The strong presence of applied research and of research and development (R+D) activities is illustrated by the EFOP-3.1.2-16-2016-00001 project (“Methodological Preparation of Educators in order to Prevent School Leaving without Qualifications”) coordinated by ELTE PPK and run by all faculties involved in teacher training. In summary, it must be said that all current projects illustrate a strong engagement to the practical utility of research results (in education, developing service/product) and to significant research orientation.

At the Faculty, currently, there are more than 60 projects running with a budget in the framework of financial support going beyond 3 billion HUF.
