Our Horizon research project "Anti-Gender Backlash & Democratic Pushback" examines, among other things, the relationship between attitudes towards gender equality and commitment to democracy. In particula, we examine communication against gender equality in public discourses, citizens' attitudes towards democracy and feminism as well as we aim at identifying communication strategies that reinforce commitment to gender equality and democracy.
