Important information for Stipendium Hungaricum and Diaspora scholarship holders

We are asking you to pay special attention to the deadline of the semester registration. If you miss the deadline and do not register to the semester, your semester's status will be passive. 
You can check the deadline on the Neptun interface, this page is updated regularly: https://neptun.elte.hu/oktig/tanugyi-idorend

Handing in a request for late registration to the semester is possible, in this case the decision will be made by the Dean based on the Academic Committee's recommendation. The Committee sits at the beginning of each month, please see the exact dates on the following webpage, as well as the deadline for submitting the requests:

Even if your request is accepted, a missing registration to the semester can result in losing the eligibility for your monthly stipend in months when you were still passive. Generally, September and February are the critical months. 
Please note that the date of the semester activation overrides the deadline to sign the scholarship attendance sheet. Even if you signed the attendance sheet in September/February, you risk losing the stipend for these months if you were not an active student in September/February.

While the Faculty works on ensuring that you receive the decision for your request as soon as possible, earlier decision making cannot be guaranteed.
