I have been working on the International Research Project on Health Behavior in School-aged Children, since 2004 as the leader of the Hungarian research group. The aim of the research is to get to the health-related habits and subjective health status of adolescents, to map the background factors influencing them for the development of national and local health promotion and health education strategies and programs. My main area of ​​interest within the research of schoolchildren's lifestyls is energy balance in relation to nutrition and physical activity, body shape, body image, nutritional status, and obesity during adolescence, as well as the relationship between biological and psychosocial maturation.
