health psychology

My research in the field of health psychology is mainly related to the investigation of the effectiveness of mind-body exercises, such as yoga. Practicing these methods is closely related to the increasingly well-known topic of mindfulness, since yoga is one of the mindfulness-based stress-reducing interventions. In Western societies, the practice of yoga is currently seen as a "two-faced" method: as a means of health preservation and development, on the other hand, as a complementary and alternative medicine. The aim of my research is to examine both approaches. I am interested in several areas of mental health, especially spirituality (spiritual well-being) and physical symptoms closely related to mental health. A detailed examination of these areas is also important and justified from a public health point of view.
