My research interest is focused on the social psychological antecedents and consequences of social responsibility: the social views, attitudes, and social preferences influencing the personal sense of social responsibility, the perceptions of social (in)equality and social fairness as well as the effects of these views and perceptions on prosocial behavioral intentions. These topics are reflected in my research activities ranging from the study of individual preferences for different tax systems to the investigation of personal and situational factors influencing the personal level of social responsibility.
