Neurocognitive background of speech and music rhythm processing
My research interest centers on the neural oscillatory activity to rhythm processing in both music and speech, with special interest in speech rhythm processing. With EEG and time-frequency analysis, we aim to uncover the proposed mechanism of neural entrainment, which suggest that endogenous brain rhythms synchronize to rhythmic external events, such as music and speech.
