There are two main research areas of the group, both having common themes regarding practice and theory. On the one hand the group conducts research on different features of school psychology, on the other hand on the characteristics of the teaching profession, the efficacy of teacher training and on teacher competencies. Regarding school psychology, in accordance with the National School Psychology Methodology Centre, the group explores the evolution of the network of school psychologists, with a special attention to the difficulties and characteristics of everyday practice. Research on teacher training includes methods of burn-out prevention, motivation of teacher candidates, effectiveness of teacher training. Also, a very important scope of activities is the development of teaching and learning material used in teacher training.
Regarding school psychology, in accordance with the National School Psychology Methodology Centre, the group explores the evolution of the network of school psychologists, with a special attention to the difficulties and characteristics of everyday practice.
