Within the field of higher education research, I focus on learning and teaching, in particular why and how university teachers and teaching communities learn about education. I use learning-centredness, students partnership building and constructivist learning theories as essential approaches in this research. My other main area of research is related to the world of innovation in higher education, focusing on the development of innovation competences of students and teachers, and the expertise and learning opportunities of educational developers.
